Matt started his insurance career after graduating California State University of Chico in 2007 with a degree in business finance. He started his insurance career in assisting clients with retirement planning tools necessary to protect his client’s financial goals for a safe and comfortable retirement. He obtained his license in 2010 and joined the CVMA’s endorsed insurance brokerage in June 2013. Matt holds the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation. Matt has held the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation since 2016.

My passion for insurance has since grown to the commercial side where I have also acquired a property and casualty license. My business model, which focuses on face-to-face personal relationships, customer service, and client satisfaction, caught the eye of VISC.

My favorite part of working with VISC is not only do I get to be a part of a great group of people with more than 100 years of combined service to the veterinary profession, but also meeting with my clients. I enjoy building and developing relationships with my clients while helping them with their insurance needs every step of the way. This is what makes working with VISC a very rewarding and long-term career for me. I admire the personal service that VISC offers their CVMA members and I am looking forward to working with the most experienced and passionate insurance agents in the industry.
