VISC is a small retail insurance broker and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CVMA, so we are able to focus on important issues as they relate to insurance and risk management programs, specifically for the veterinary profession. Our entire staff is familiar with each account and practice owner and have developed personal rapport and relationships with many of our clients.

My passion for insurance has since grown to the commercial side where I have also acquired a property and casualty license. My business model, which focuses on face-to-face personal relationships, customer service, and client satisfaction, caught the eye of VISC.

My favorite part of working with VISC is not only do I get to be a part of a great group of people with more than 100 years of combined service to the veterinary profession, but also meeting with my clients. I enjoy building and developing relationships with my clients while helping them with their insurance needs every step of the way. This is what makes working with VISC a very rewarding and long-term career for me. I admire the personal service that VISC offers their CVMA members and I am looking forward to working with the most experienced and passionate insurance agents in the industry.

VISC is unique in its singular focus on the veterinary profession. Serving the insurance needs of veterinarians for nearly 30 years has allowed me to meet many interesting people and see things most non-veterinarians would never have the chance to see.

How many people outside the profession can say they know hundreds of veterinarians? I’ve been fortunate to have the loyalty of so many long time clients, and it’s also fun to see the new graduates coming out of school and buying or starting their own practices.

I am also gratified to be part of a team of colleagues who have worked together for so long that we are almost like family.
