As a veterinary student and a member of the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), you are entitled to a full range of CVMA member benefits and services. CVMA member UC Davis and WesternU students may obtain complimentary professional liability insurance. This coverage provides important protection for you while you are enrolled in your educational programs and transition into clinical externships.

It is a fact of life that veterinary professionals need liability and malpractice insurance throughout their entire careers. The CVMA Insurance Services Program is committed to providing the most comprehensive business and personal coverage for veterinary professionals in California.

It’s easy to take advantage of this opportunity – just complete the Student Professional Liability Insurance Enrollment Form and return it to VISC. This insurance is only available to students enrolled in the veterinary school programs at either UC Davis, or Western University, Pomona.
