Edgar Velasquez is a Sacramento native and began his career in the insurance industry in 2009. He has worked in the employee benefits insurance space for nearly 15 years, gaining knowledge and expertise along the way. For many years he was in a supportive Account Management role at a major TPA and managed the employee benefits for large hospitals and executive firms throughout California and the east coast. Edgar was hired as the Employee Benefits Account Executive at VISC in July of 2024 where he leads the growth and retention of new business. Networking and making new connections is important to Edgar as he is known to keep and nurture long term relationships.
